# Using the Datasets Feature

As your container accumulates inference logs, you may want to create smaller training datasets focused on specific subsets of your data. The Datasets feature lets you slice inference logs based on your desired criteria and run optimization on those derived datasets.

1. Navigate the I**nference** tab
2. Add your desired filters
3. Hit **Create Dataset**.

This dataset can then be viewed from the **Datasets** tab and selected within **Optimization**.
